Sunrise Hike
This classic Boulder hike, Mount Sanitas, offers great views of the Continental Divide to the west and Boulder to the East…that is, if you can ascend the 1,500 feet to the summit. This is a moderate 3.3-mile circular hike that ascends 1500-vertical feet to the summit of Mount Sanitas. This hike has a bit of everything: great views of the city of Boulder to the east, Green Mountain to the south, intermittent view of the Continental Divide to the west, large sandstone formations, rocky hiking terrain, evergreen trees, and a super summit view. Mount Sanitas is ideal for people that like expansive vistas most of the way.

Sunset Tour
This amazing tour combines many of the unique experiences and history of Boulder into an action-packed adventure designed to stimulate the senses. Depart from downtown Boulder and travel up Flagstaff Road and down to Gross Reservoir. Along the way, watch the sunset over the Continental Divide, see the lights of Boulder and learn about all of Boulder’s natural and local history. The activity level is easy, and it is a great trip for groups, weddings, reunions, individuals, aspiring photographers and those interested in history and natural history or sightseeing.

Stargazing Tour
Our expert astronomer guide will lead you on a journey through the night sky, using several large telescopes and a green laser pointer to point out constellations and planets. You’ll see celestial wonders up close. Depending on the night and season you will see the Moon’s craters, planets like Jupiter or Saturn (season permitting), distant star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies millions of light-years away. Along the way, you’ll hear fun stories and folklore about the stars, learn how to navigate the sky, and even get to operate a telescope yourself. Questions are welcome anytime – we love curiosity and make the tour interactive and engaging.

We provide everything you need for a comfortable night under the stars. Expect a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where you can kick back in provided chairs, gaze through the telescopes, and soak up the beauty of Boulder’s dark sky.
