STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO
In the winter, Steamboat Springs is a thriving ski town, set on the edge of the Steamboat Ski Resort, playing host to multiple Alpine Skiing World Cups and prestigious competitions. In the summer, the Yampa River is loved for its whitewater, fly-fishing, and tubing.
Steamboat is a ski town at heart with a cultural flair in it’s lodging, restaurant scene, cafes, breweries, and art galleries. Look for fine dining such as Diva Café or Laundry Restaurant, and casual options such as Salt & Lime, and Mazzola’s. Steamboat’s lodging options run the gamut from the rustic mountain antiquity to more chic and modern options including many which incorporate the famed geothermal spas.
Steamboat is also a center for hiking and running trails, rock climbing, ice climbing, backcountry and cross-country skiing. Colorado Wilderness Corporate and Teams utilizes the many trails and open spaces in planning our trips and have access to some of the most exquisite mountain territory in Colorado.
At the center of town, between the breweries and exciting restaurant scene, are numerous natural geothermal hot springs, the two most popular being the public Old Town and Strawberry Park Hot Springs. The Strawberry Park Hot Springs is especially known for its lack of ambient light and excellent stargazing opportunities.
Colorado Wilderness Corporate and Teams will utilize Steamboat’s breweries, sights, restaurants, and historical icons in team building exercises such as Colorado Scavenger Hunts and Colorado Amazing Races and Brewery Amazing Races. We’ll utilize the unique natural topography around the town to create unforgettable wilderness experiences such as orienteering, ropes course, and outdoor challenges. Come check out Steamboat team building activities with Colorado Wilderness Corporate and Teams and, through it’s natural and cultural treasures, discover why Steamboat Springs, Colorado is a great place to show your group or team an exceptional Colorado experience!
