Since 2009, Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides has been one of Colorado’s premier guiding services, hosting adventures throughout the Front Range. Fly Fishing (Float / Wade)

Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides is a permitted guide services on the Upper Colorado River and late September is great trout fishing. We offer full-day and half-day wade and float trips from the reservoirs, creeks, and lakes around Boulder Canyon, Rocky Mountain National Park, the Dream Stream, to the canyons and rushing waters of the Upper Colorado, which we explore by raft or wooden dory. We supply the rods, reels, waders/booties, seasonal wet/dry/nymph flies to match hatches, while taking you on some of Colorado’s extraordinary waterways.

Peak Ascents

Colorado is known for its 54 famed 14ers, peaks over 14,000-feet, which from the top reveals Colorado’s spectacular landscape. We offer a number of mountaineering experiences, from a beginner’s peak such as Mt. Bierstadt or Mt. Greys and Torreys, to Longs Peak, the highest peak in Rocky Mountain National Park. Colorado is one of the world’s mountain biking meccas, with thousands of single-track and cross-country trails spread throughout the Boulder-Denver area. Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides offers a number of half and full day trips ranging from a traverse of the Continental Divide, a thrilling Rocky Mountain National Park Downhill Ride at 12,000-feet, or the Switzerland Trail, which follows an old gold mining trail from Boulder Canyon into the city.
