In the winter, Colorado takes on an entirely different hue. The trails become frosted, the snow piles up, and the crowds diminish, so it’s the perfect time to get out. Join us for a half-day or full-day snowshoeing tour either in Rocky Mountain National Park or the local Boulder area. In Rocky Mountain National Park we’ll explore frozen lakes, waterfalls, white powdery basins, and the eerie silence of a wintery park. In Boulder, we’ll see some of Boulder’s iconic landmarks such as Royal Arch and the Flatirons, taken on new life as they’re covered in snow. Also ask us about our multi-day hut-to-hut trips.

Group Focus Snowshoe adventure in Rocky Mountain National Park or the Boulder area.

Locations: Boulder, Denver, Golden, Estes Park, rocky Mountain National Park

Included in our rates: Snowshoes; The services of a professional guide; round-trip transportation from Boulder; snacks and water (lunch is also included during full-day excursions); education about local and natural history, including library of Rocky Mountain flora and fauna; and group CB, medical kit, and contingency and emergency support.

Not included in our rates: Park entrance fees, which are $10 per person per day for Eldorado Canyon State Park and $10 per person per week for Rocky Mountain National Park, payable directly to the parks upon entry; and gratuities for your guide (the amount is at your discretion, but the recommended Gratuity is 20%).

Special Notes: Please note, groups will be divided into smaller groups of 14 or less based our land manager permits. We can have 1-12 different groups go out at the same time. A 20% Gratuity will be added to parties of six or more

Rocky Mountain National Park
Snowshoe through the famous trails and mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park. There are many trails ranging from easy and beginner to moderate, steep, and advanced. We’ll take you to the famous frozen lakes and wintery basins of the park.

Moffat Tunnel

Cutting through the Continental Divide, Moffat Tunnel provides snowshoe access to the spectacular Indian Peaks Wilderness. Miles of pristine trails are available for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced snowshoers.
