Colorado is known for its 54 famed 14ers, peaks over 14,000-feet, which from the top reveals Colorado’s spectacular landscape. We offer a number of mountaineering experiences, from a beginner’s peak such as Mt. Bierstadt or Mt. Greys and Torreys, to Longs Peak, the highest peak in Rocky Mountain National Park. Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides leads a variety of technical and non-technical ascents, ranging from simple yet burly hikes to 5th-class rock climbing. Let us create an unforgettable Colorado mountaineering experience.
Group Focus: Guided peak ascents of the iconic Colorado Peaks

Locations: Throughout Colorado including Boulder CO, Denver, Colorado Springs, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Golden, Keystone, Winter Park, Breckenridge, Vail, Nederland, Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake.

Included in our rates: The services of a professional educator/guide; any gear necessary to complete the activities (if applicable); lunch, snacks and water. round-trip transportation from hotel to the climbing site, snacks and water (lunch is also included for full-day hikes), education about local and natural history, including library for Rocky Mountain flora and fauna, group CB, medical kit, and contingency and emergency support.

Not included in our rates: Round-trip transportation between your hotel and the team building activity location; land manager day use fees, which are payable directly to the park upon entry (if applicable); dinner reservation or meal; and gratuities for your guides (A 20% gratuity will be added for groups of 6 or more guests).

Special Notes: Please note, groups will be divided into smaller groups of 14 or less based our land manager permits. We can have 1-12 different groups go out at the same time. A 20% Gratuity will be added to parties of six or more

With seemingly endless options among Colorado’s 54 famed 14ers, our expert mountaineering and hiking guides escort teams on unforgettable peak adventures. Join us for challenging, memorable hiking trips and peak ascents in Estes Park and the Rockies.

6-8 Hour Options:
North and South Arapahoe

Two exciting summits marked by 3rd and 4th class climbing plus a thrilling exposed traverse.
James Peak
A classic Colorado 13er. Start from St. Mary’s Glacier and climb up to the heart of the James Peak Wilderness with spectacular views all around. Also ask about our ski options.

8+ Hour Options:
Longs Peak
THE Colorado Classic. Climb up Rocky Mountain National Park’s highest peak, visible from Boulder and revel in a true Colorado experience. We also guide winter and technical routes from the Kiener’s to the Diamond.

Mt. Bierstadt
Are you new to 14er climbing? Mt. Bierstadt is the perfect introduction to hiking about 14,000-feet. Start from Guanella Pass and hike 7 miles round trip for an exhilarating sunrise over the Front Range.
Grays and Torrey’s Peak
Summit two 14ers in one trip! Start up the relatively easy 2nd class trail that leads up Grays Peak and then step across the traverse and bag Torrey’s Peak as well. Two peaks for one!
